Relay documentation

A handoff starts with files and a note on one machine. After publication succeeds, an authorized machine can collect the Bundle later. Follow these guides to prepare both ends and check the result.

1. Check account access

An account on the selected Relay service is required. When registration is open, use the Dashboard to verify your email and set a password. Existing users can keep their username; an email becomes a sign-in identifier only after verification. Waitlist signup does not create an account.

2. Set up the CLI or an Agent

Use the getting-started guide for the sender and receiver workflow. The Agent guide covers Skill installation and its current runtime requirements. Installing a Skill does not sign you in or authorize an upload; choose the intended service and workspace before a transfer.

3. Select the workspace and publish a Bundle

Check your signed-in identity and available workspaces first. The receiving account needs access to the same workspace. Include a useful handoff note, keep the sender online until publication succeeds, then collect the files from the receiving machine when it reconnects.

4. Check failures, capacity and privacy

Keep your source files until the receiving files have been checked. For interrupted transfers, use the command and recovery references in the public CLI repository. Storage allowance and workspace permissions still apply. Read the trust guide before sending sensitive material.
